Flying Penguins!
Somehow all the contents of my DVR were erased last night. Second time this has happened. What's the use of paying for DVR when you can't depend on it to hold shows? Among shows that got erased, the most recent episodes of Lost and Smallville. Lost, of course I can catch on ABC online or Itunes. However, Smallville isnt on Itunes or CW's site.

And yes. I'm a bit embarrassed to admit that I watch Smallville.

Oh well, having an empty DVR gives me more time to read. I'm currently reading Stephen King's Cell.

For those that haven't yet seen this, a rather cool video.

The flying penguins were pretty funny. My 4-yr-old should get a kick out of that.

I'd be interested to hear your thoughts on "Cell" when you finish. I read it recently - my 1st King book in YEARS - and that's all I'm gonna say about that ;)

So far, I like it. I haven't read a King book in a while, either. The last one I REALLY enjoyed by him was 'Insomniac'.

Haha, I missed that one. I think before "Cell" it was.. oh heck, probably "Needful Things."

    It's been a LONG time.

I like the new blog style, too. I've been a LJ user for quite some time, but this sure interacts better with your site, doesn't it?

I'm a reporter at a Florida newspaper, where I cover city politics and draw editorial comics. I'm also a cartoonist, how most of you know me, who draws Todd and Penguin, Taking Up Space and the occasional other titles, featured on KeenSpot.com. I'm married (sorry, all you ladies interested in overweight guys who spend too much time drawing) and have a one year old son and two cats. Three of the above mentioned poop way too much! This blog may contain a few more expletives than my normal stuff.
